Itinerant exhibition is being held at the Belas Shopping

The National Bank of Angola presents the itinerant exhibition - 'Viagem ao Kwanza', a show about the Angolan currency unit, symbol of sovereignty and national unity, alluding to the 40th anniversary of the issuance of the Angolan currency, created under the Law No. 71-A/76, on the 11 of November of 1976, by the first President of the Republic of Angola, Dr. António Agostinho Neto.

Open to the general public on Tuesday, March 21, with opening hours from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Belas Shopping Center, the exhibition continues until the 9 of April of this year, includes historical information on the Kwanza, photographs of the process of currency exchange, safety features of banknotes, among other relevant aspects, acting in parallel, a sample of commemorative stamps produced by the Angola Postal Office.

After having been on Avenida Shopping, from 24 February to March 10, the exhibition that intends to show in detail the history of the national currency heads for other shopping centers and schools that will be announced in due course.
